In 1967, La Salette Missionaries purchased an uncompleted, ground floor house at Cegielniana Housing Estate in Krakow. During the next few years the first floor extension was built as well as domestic chapel. The new building became a suitable place for the new centre.

On February 12, 1980 the Metropolitan Curia in Krakow agreed to open a new religious house at Koszalinska 12. On August 12, Cardinal Franciszek Macharski blessed and opened the public chapel. The new religious house became place of formation of future La Salette Missionaries.

During 1982-1985 a new structure of the two-floors house was accomplished and both buildings were successfully joined. From October 1, 1985, the Provincial Council opened the Seminary of the Missionaries of our Lady of La Salette there. The house was solemnly opened and blessed by Cardinal Franciszek Macharski on September 23, 1986.

In 1991, our Province extended the formation program. Two-years postulate was linked with philosophical studies and was followed by one-year noviciate and four years study of theology. As a result of this reform the Seminary at Koszalinska Street was a place for students of theology. Postulants - students of philosophy lived in the house at Wislna Street. At the beginning of October 2001 all seminarians moved back to the house at Koszalinska Street.
Furthermore, the increasing number of seminarians was an inspiration to extend the older part of the house adding an extra floor.

For many years, in the Seminary, apart of formation programme there have been offices of La Salette Publications, of La Salette Pilgrimages, and of La Salette Provincial Archives.
